A Century of Harmony, A Future of Innovation: The Next Chapter of petosa accordions

 

Dear Petosa Family, Friends and Colleagues, 

For 104 years, petosa accordions has been defined by our tradition, craftsmanship, and an unwavering commitment to our musical community.  From our 96 years in Seattle, and the past 8 years in Lynnwood, Washington, we have weathered changing eras by adapting without ever compromising the tradition of who we are.

This summer will mark another historic milestone in our 104-year journey. The Petosa family is excited to announce our relocation to Cashmere, Washington (10 miles east of Leavenworth).  

Leavenworth is not just a tourist destination—it is Washington state's second most popular destination after Seattle. Nestled in the Cascade Mountains just a 2-hour drive east of Everett, this fully immersive Bavarian-styled town draws over 2 million visitors annually.

This decision was not made lightly. In today’s changing economic landscape, many businesses are facing inflationary costs of overhead, labor, transportation and current tariffs.  Most businesses are passing these higher costs on to their customers. We have decided to take a different path. To avoid raising our prices, we are streamlining our operations and investing in a new way to serve you. petosa is ensuring the mainstay of its current 4th generation and looking forward to our 5th!    

 

What This Move Means to Our Customers

  Competitive Pricing: We can continue to offer world-class instruments and service at competitive prices

  Increased Capacity: Improving our backend logistics will allow us to significantly optimize our ability to communicate, process orders, manage inventory and support you in the best way possible

  A Superior Digital Experience: This fall, we are launching a brand-new, user-friendly website and platform. This will streamline our online sales, speed up shipping times, and allow us to manage our virtual showroom with maximum efficiency. You will be able to experience our products in a more in-depth and dynamic way from the comfort of your own home.

  Personalized Service: We are remaining readily available by phone and email, and we will continue to maintain an appointment-based physical showroom and service center at our new location
  
• 
  A Presence in Edmonds will be Maintained: We will have a location set up to maintain local service and rental needs
  

Timeline

• 
  End of July: Our final days at the Lynnwood location
  
• 
  Service Department: Accepting most service needs until July 11th
  
• 
  Current Rentals: Inquire about new Edmonds, Wa location for drop offs after July, if applicable
  
• 
  Transition Period: Online sales, email and phone support will continue uninterrupted during the move, with the potential caveat of some delays in early/mid-August as we move 
  
• 
  Late August: We plan to be fully operational in Cashmere and welcome you to schedule a visit!
  

 

In an ever-changing world, music must go on and Petosa will continue to perpetuate the accordion to all that love playing.  We are making this leap from a position of strength and vision, ensuring that the petosa standard of excellence thrives for a 5th generation and beyond.
