World famous concert artist/composer and foremost pioneer of and for the accordion, Maestro Anthony Galla-Rini was considered by his peers to be singly responsible for the popularity the accordion gained as a concert instrument during the 1930s and '40s. With a career spanning 98 years as a professional accordionist and 74 years as an accordion teacher, Maestro Galla-Rini is a celebrated American accordion legend.
In 1989 Maestro Galla-Rini presented a 4 hour Master Accordion Workshop in Seattle. Enthusiastically attended by accordionists from many states and provinces, the information and lecture remain invaluable nearly 35 years later. This is an event surely treasured by any accordionist.
With compliments from petosa accordions, the video of the Master Workshop is available in its 4 hour entirety on YouTube.
This 33 page companion booklet issued workshop attendees is a treasure containing indispensable musical examples, studies and charts written in Maestro Galla-Rini's own hand. The .pdf booklet is available here by digital download.
