As a family business spanning four generations, we strive to make our policies and practices as beneficial and simple as possible.  We work with each customer on an individual basis and promise to always do what's right in every circumstance.  Below we cover the details of our company policies and hope you find them not only clear and understandable, but also helpful and valuable.  

SHIPPING: Shipping costs are a substantial overhead item for a small business like ours.  We obtain competitive rates from our preferred couriers and apply or prorate many of the costs to keep shipping affordable for the customer.  Our website software will be mostly accurate based on the information provided, but calculations can sometimes be inaccurate for one reason or another.  If you would like to confirm shipping rates or if not provided at checkout, please contact us by phone or email and we will gladly assist you with a shipping quote. phone: 206 632 2700  / email: petosa@petosa.com 

10-DAY TRIAL: (excludes in-store purchases) Can’t get to our store to try out your next accordion? Don't worry, we have you covered. Our 10-day trial allows you to purchase a new petosa, Giulietti, Americana or Certified Pre-owned accordion and try it in the comfort of your own home for 10 days. Love it? Keep it. Don’t love it? Send it back for a refund and only pay shipping*. Trial applies to new in-stock petosa, Giulietti, Americana & Certified Pre-owned accordions (excludes Hohner accordions, in-store purchases, special or custom orders and electronic products). Customer is responsible for paying all shipping charges to and from petosa on returned items. Items must be returned in new condition, without any wear from use. 

CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED EXCHANGE GUARANTEE: We welcome you to trade-up for an instrument of equal or greater value and receive 100% of the accordion’s original purchase value within 6 months of purchase date. We extend the trade-up guarantee to 1 year when trading up to a new petosa model of equal or greater value.  The 6-month trade-up guarantee is a single-use offer and applicable shipping/bank fees may be deducted from the allowance. Exchanges must be returned in relatively the same condition without any excessive use or wear. After the exchange period expires, depreciation will be applied to the trade-in and value will be appraised upon inspection.

AMERICANA - petosa EXCHANGE GUARANTEE: Americana (by petosa) includes a trade-back promise that guarantees 100% of the original accordion price to be applied to a new petosa within one year.  Value excludes any payment fees, shipping and excess wear to be determined upon inspection. 

TRADE-INS: Didn’t purchase your accordion from us? No problem. We can appraise the value of your current accordion(s) for trade upon inspection. We welcome you to visit our Lynnwood location for appraisal: we advise to call ahead to ensure a technician is available. Out of state? Ship your accordion to us for a free verbal appraisal (see Returns below for shipping instructions).

SERVICE & APPRAISALS: With over 160 years of combined experience, nobody can manage your service needs like Petosa. We offer free appraisals upon inspection & written appraisals start at $25. Service appraisals are approximate and are subject to change – the customer will be notified of any changes or additional, unforeseen costs prior to resuming work if applicable. Estimated completion dates are subject to change due to material shortages, unforeseen issues upon disassembly, holidays, etc. We do our best to notify customers if delays occur, please feel free to call and check in on your repair if important dates are needing to be met. No appraisals or evaluations can be provided without inspection by a petosa technician.

LAYAWAY PROGRAM: Enjoy the convenience of no interest layaway payments for up to 12 months. Layaway payments and purchases are non-refundable but remain as useable credit towards accordions. Minimum down and monthly payments required – please inquire.

FINANCING: We offer financing options ranging from 0% interest for 6 months – same as cash to extended plans with varying interest rates through Synchrony Financial. Contact us directly 206 632 2700 so we can tailor a plan to meet your financial needs.

THIRD-PARTY WEBSITE PURCHASES: At petosa, we take the utmost pride in our service and have policies in place that allow us to work on a case-by-case basis with our customers.  When purchasing an item we offer from a third party website, we must honor that website’s policies. If you have any issues dealing with a third party site regarding any of our products, please feel free to contact us directly to discuss how we may be able to help you.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES: Return or exchange an order by courier (USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc.) within 15 days of receipt. Applies to most products except accordions (see 10-Day Trial and Exchange Guarantee above).

PRIVACY POLICY: By using our website, you (the visitor) agree to allow third parties to process your IP address, in order to determine your location for the purpose of currency conversion. You also agree to have that currency stored in a session cookie in your browser (a temporary cookie which gets automatically removed when you close your browser). We do this in order for the selected currency to remain selected and consistent when browsing our website so that the prices can convert to your (the visitor) local currency.

Contact us by phone or email to obtain Return Authorization confirmation.  Upon receipt of RA, return the item including your original invoice with the package.  We recommend insuring valuable items and choose a service with tracking if possible. petosa is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items that were not shipped by us directly. Electronic instruments/products are subject to a 25% restocking fee. The customer is responsible for paying all shipping charges (to and from petosa) on returned items along with any applicable bank fees. If an item was financed through a third party, applicable fees may be deducted from the refund. A Return Authorization and proof of purchase from petosa is required (store receipt, gift receipt, shipping invoice, or account purchase history) for all returns and exchanges.
