This accordion was built in 2007 and combines many desirable design facets into a single instrument; the beautiful aesthetics of an antique accordion, modern construction/specification/performance, and even a special Tuba Bass. (Helicon type reeds) A unique Bass switch allows the player to choose the Bass/Tenor reeds together as normal, or the rich Tuba Bass reed alone in the Bass section for a powerful accompaniment sound traditional to Alpine, Steirische and so many other styles of music - incredible versatility. Attention to detail is everywhere, including the ergonomically rounded back edge of the bass section making this a very comfortable accordion to play. This Antico features custom rhinestone engraving, unique bellows, mahogany cabinet and reed blocks, all calfskin reed leathers and a compact vintage design. Like new condition inside and out.
